48 Hours To Go

We hope everyone had a safe and fun Halloween! We’re down to the final 48 hours of the campaign (well...technically 50 hours).

We’re less than $5,000 away from our next stretch goal! If you missed the live stream yesterday, we leaked one of the 3 additional locations from that stretch goal. You can see that locations below! We’ll show off the other 2 when we hit the stretch goal!

On yesterday’s live stream, we also announced that we are hosting an open call for Campy Creatures idea submissions on our website. The conversation and creativity that’s been happening in the comments section has really been inspiring for us to read and we want to give those ideas room to grow! Visit Keymastergames.com/campycreatures and you’ll find a button to submit ideas for the game. There are no guarantees but if we like an idea we see we’ll consider it for publication in a future expansion!

Final Week

Here we are, the final week of our campaign! We’re already a 1/3 of the way to showing off 3 additional Locations and then that puts us in spitting distance to that final stretch goal: wooden tokens for the base game!

Keymaster is excited to offer Campy Creatures Dead-Luxe Playing Cards. Campy Creatures' talented illustrator, Josh Emrich, has built this custom deck of playing cards from the ground up to be every bit as campy as you could hope. This is a boutique-style card set from the cards to the packaging. The cards are a linen finished ivory core card stock and the tuck box is embossed and Glow-in-the-Dark. New Stretch Goal Reveal

$70,000 stretch goal? No problem! Wrapped Clash-O-Meter boards are a go. And now we have a surprise for you!

We’re adding a stretch goal in-between the wrapped boards and those wooden components!

$85,000 - 3 New Locations (2nd Edition Upgrade)

At $85,000 we’re going to add 3 new locations to the 2nd Edition Game. We’re really excited about the new Locations feature. They provide a fun tension to each round with abilities that make every round and game unique. We’ve been working on 3 additional Location cards to add to the base game Location deck. Want to know what those locations are called? Lets get that unlock and then we’ll reveal them!

Will these new locations be included in the Conversion Kit and Conversion Edition as well? YES

A lot of backers have asked excitedly about more Creatures and we love hearing the love and the ideas. Creatures take a long time to develop and test to make sure they are just right. We don’t want to put any creatures into the world that we haven’t balanced. It’s not fair to you or the creatures! Locations are easier to develop and this stretch goal is an opportunity to make sure we’re building a ton of variety into this new feature.

Pumpkin Carving Contest

Did you see? Kyle made a cool Campy Creatures pumpkin for the office! Don't forget to download your templates from the Kickstarter page if you're planning on doing any carving in the next couple of days! Thanks to master pumpkin carver John Anderson, we'll also be adding some more advanced templates to the mix! This is a really easy way to get in on some of that sharing action we were talking about. Oh hello again! I know you think you saw this update yesterday…well you did…some of it. Anyways, now it’s better! So let’s try this one more time:

Have you downloaded your pumpkin carving templates yet? We're hosting a little pumpkin carving contest over on Facebook. If you carve a campy pumpkin and share it to the contest post you could win a FREE Giclee print of your choice! Remember, the more shares the contest post gets, the more winners we'll pick!

Add-On: Apparel

SURPRISE!! We're offering some sweet swag to help you campy up your wardrobe. Both the Campy Creatures T-shirt (for the first time) and the Control T-shirt (back by popular demand) will be available. Keeping in line with a trend in this Kickstarter, the Campy Creatures shirt will be Glow-in-the-Dark. Then, for the first time, we are offering a classic creature eye hat, and Monster socks. Josh's Monster design is just too good not to put on a pair of socks! All these items will be available in Backerkit after the campaign is over. Be sure to check back in the campaign for pricing details.

Some backers have asked about us offering prints at a larger size. Josh is taking preorders on larger prints that he is producing, including a Glow-in-the-Dark Monster print! If you are an international backer, the Giclee prints are available to you and while smaller, they are a very high quality, rich printing process we think you’ll love!

Reminder: You can adjust your pledge amount and receive a credit in Backerkit once the campaign has ended. Doing so will also help hit those stretch goals! ;)
